Happy (Belated) Birthday to Bert Kaempfert (October 16, 1923-June 21, 1980). Kaempfert was a German orchestra leader, multi-instrumentalist, music producer, arranger, and composer.When I was a very young kid in the 1960s, I watched the kids' show The Sandy Becker Show on TV. "That Happy Feeling" was the theme song for the show. Here is a live performance of that song performed by Kaempfert's orchestra and conducted by, of course, Kaempfert.

"That Happy Feeling" is an instrumental pop song composed by Ghanaian musician Guy Warren in 1956 under the original title "An African's Prayer (Eyi Wala Dong)" and recorded as a single by Kaempfert.
