On a hunting trip in Canada long ago, my uncle shot and had mounted a record-setting, 650-pound black bear. My mom and I nicknamed him Max after the boxer Max Baer, whose son, Max Baer Jr., played Jethro Bodine on the TV sitcom "The Beverly Hillbillies. Both my uncle and his father (my grandfather) were pugilists.
I prefer Prosecco to ChChampagne.
I do like to eat chocolate macaroons.
