I would say that my favorite ice cream flavor is mint chocolate chip. I have liked it since I was a kid in the 1960s, especially when I would have a bowl of it at Howard Johnson's restaurant on Long Island, New York, with my usual order of chicken croquettes. I also like regular chocolate ice cream, especially with a piece of fruit pie (cherry, blueberry, peach, or apple).

I do like corn fritters, but they certainly have not and are not a staple of my diet.
