I saw a post on Facebook asking people about a fashion trend that they don't like. This was my response:
When I was working in New York City in the 1990s, I would laugh at the many women who would wear colorful business suits with the padded shoulders, colored stockings, puffy white socks, and sneakers, carrying their pocketbooks and paper shopping bags containing their high heels. I guess it was practical for the commute, but every weekday morning on my way to work, I would not be able to contain my laughter.
