Maroni, Castagne, Chestnuts

I finally got around to making what's known as Maroni in Austria, Caldarroste/Castagne in Italy, and Roasted Chestnuts in the United States. They are quite delicious.

Today (February 14, 2026), I pay homage to my father, who passed away at the age of 62 on this date in 1997. His birthday is August 30, 1934...
