I like Anisette (and Sambuca), but I don't particularly like licorice. I don't know why. I particularly like Anisette baked into biscotti and also slowly sipping it after an Italian dinner. (My heritage is half Italian.)
Since the late 1960s, my personal tradition forbids me from eating pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving Day. I must eat it on Christmas Day. Why? Pum...
