Get Up Day is about getting up after being knocked down. Surgically, I was leveled twice in 2025, once in 2024, twice in 2023, and thrice in 2022. I am still unable to walk without the help of a rolling walker. I also use a wheelchair (transport chair). I am also dealing with diabetes, including peripheral neuropathy in both of my feet. I hope one day I will be able to walk again on my own. 

Surgeries:

March 2022: open heart

May 2022: 1st chest

May 2022: 2nd chest

September 2023: 1st spine

October 2023: 2nd spine

April 2024: right ankle

November 2025: both legs

November 2025: left foot

I have never been to Texas, but I surely like its politics. I just learned something interesting about Texas from a YouTube video: Texas is NOT in the Top 10 states with the most gun ownership.
