Narrating the insignificant aspects of life. Actually, I sometimes do it as a joke. I'm 65 years old, so I am not quite at that stage yet. I have done it a few times unintentionally. It makes me laugh when other people do it.
For example, when an old person eats a salad at a restaurant, that person will say, "This salad is so refreshing. Look at all of the tomatoes."
When an old person goes outside, that person will say, "It's hot today. It's hotter than yesterday, but probably not as hot as tomorrow."
