Both of my thighs were numb after my two spinal surgeries in late 2023. Now, I am quite happy to be experiencing pain in my thighs. That means my nerves are healing. I never thought that I would ever (indirectly) wish for pain. I just wanted the feeling in my thighs to return. I'll take temporary pain over permanent numbness any day.
