Happy Father-in-Law Day to my father-in-law Bob (R.I.P.). He was not only down to earth but also larger than life. Here I am with Bob and my mother-in-law Lorna (R.I.P.) at our wedding reception when I married their daughter Aileen (Debbie) on February 4, 2006. Bob, you are sorely missed and forever in our thoughts and within our hearts. Of course, we also sorely miss Lorna.

I agree, and I was an unbiased journalist from 1982 to 2017. It saddens me how journalism has become nothing more than leftist propaganda. Thankfully, President Trump and the Congress have defunded PBS and NPR, which are quintessential offenders in this regard. I have been a staunch Republican for my entire life and, more recently, a staunch MAGA Republican. I have always separated my political beliefs and my profession.

That's true. Many people are concerned about what people think of them, when that's a waste of time. If they knew that people don't have time to care about their lives because they are too obsessed with their own lives, surviving, paying the rent, dealing with illnesses, people would take more risks in the pursuit of success.

I am watching live coverage of the thirteenth race of the 2025 Formula 1 racing season on July 27, 2025. The Belgium Grand Prix is being broadcast on ESPN from a feed from Sky Sports F1. The 44-lap race started at 3 p.m. local time (9 a.m. Eastern Time in the United States).

I LOVE hot fudge sundaes. When I was a kid in the 1960s and 1970s, I often ordered them with the fudge on the bottom, so I could save the fudge for last, after I ate all of the ice cream. Almost all of the fudge normally ended up down there anyway.

I don't particularly like vanilla ice cream. However, for some reason, I like a "Black and White," a shake made with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup. I usually like hardcore chocolate confections. I think that I like the milder Black and White because I just like saying it.
