Amputation: Left Toes

***MORE SURGERY SCHEDULED: AMPUTATION OF MY LEFT TOES: Wednesday evening (November 5, 2025), I had surgery to remove a long vein in my right leg to bypass an occluded (blocked) artery in my left leg. It was put within my left leg. I am NOT doing well. I am scheduled to have further surgery to have the toes of my left foot amputated due to gangrene, either tomorrow (November 8, 2025) or Tuesday, November 11, 2025. I will also have to have a PICC line installed for a daily six-week-long regimen of intravenous antibiotic, as I have done many times before for bone infections and skin infections within my feet. This time, I have a bone infection within the big toe of my left foot. When my big toe is amputated along with all of my other toes, the infection will also be removed. I will still require intravenous antibiotics to be sure that the infection is gone. I have been receiving many antibiotics here at the hospital. I arrived at a different hospital, Delray Beach Medical Center, on October 31, 2025, when I began this medical journey. I was transferred to Boca Raton Regional Hospital due to surgery scheduling problems.
