I hate having to be in southeastern Florida from October 1 to March 1 every year. (no joke) ... During this time, I miss the cold and snow of Long Island, New York, where I grew up in the 1960s and 1970s. In southeastern Florida during the winter, both the population and the restaurant prices massively increase.
