When I was a kid (preteen and teenager) in the 1970s, my parents, our neighbors, and I would chase blue-claw crabs with spotlights and nets at night on our boats on the Great South Bay, near West Islip, Long Island, New York, where we were living. At night, they swim just below the surface of the water. We would typically arrive home around midnight, when my mom would boil the crabs, and everyone else, including me, would clean them.March 9, 2024, at home
Being half Italian, I do like fried meatballs. (Spaghetti and meatballs is an American invention and is not typically eaten in Italy.)
