I am saddened by the passing of saxophonist David Sanborn. R.I.P. July 30, 1945 – May 12, 2024 ... He played the sax on David Bowie's song "Young Americans." You can see him in this video, along with a young Luther Vandross as a background singer. He's the guy on the far left of the line of background singers.
