Today Is ...

I used to drink an alcoholic beverage called the Cuba Libre (simply rum and Coca-Cola) decades ago. More memorably, I used to drink frozen lime daiquiris (we called them "dacks") using rum, ice cubes, and Minute Maid frozen limeade concentrate swirled in a blender.

I will take this opportunity to urge you to please put whiskey, not rum, in your eggnog, as per global tradition. Thank you.
