By following this video, I configured my phone to stop spying on me in three ways, thereby preventing my phone from sending my information from my Google searches, my text messages, and even my voice through my phone's microphone to advertisers so that they can send me advertisements on Facebook and, I guess, other social media. Changing these three settings to the off positions, which I hadn't done, will apparently make my phone faster and slow battery drainage. (On is the default setting for all three.)
