Sad Songs

WHAT'S THE SADDEST SONG YOU HAVE EVER HEARD?

I was scrolling through Facebook and came across a post asking what's the saddest song you have ever heard. I thought, "That's all me," so I answered several times.

Here is  the list of songs with explanations that I posted in the comment section of that post. I won't listen to these songs because they are way to sad for me.

Long Long Time - Linda Ronstadt ("'Cause I've done everything I know
To try and make you mine
And I think it's gonna hurt me
For a long long time
'Cause I've done everything I know
To try and change your mind
And I think I'm gonna miss you
For a long long time")

For No One - The Beatles (written by Paul McCartney) ... It's about a man and woman breaking up. The part that gets me is: "You stay home. She goes out."

She's Leaving Home - The Beatles ("Father snores as his wife gets into her dressing gown
Picks up the letter that's lying there
Standing alone at the top of the stairs
She breaks down and cries to her husband
Daddy, our baby's gone.
Why would she treat us so thoughtlessly?
How could she do this to me?
She (we never thought of ourselves)
Is leaving (never a thought for ourselves)
Home (we struggled hard all our lives to get by)
She's leaving home, after living alone, for so many years")

The Blind Man in the Bleachers - David Geddes (A really bad high school football player's blind father attends all of his game. One game, the player finally scores a touchdown. His teammates are surprised and asked him why is he playing so well now. He tells them that his father died, and that was the first time his father ever watched him play.)

Run Joey Run - David Geddes (Father gets angry at daughter's boyfriend and accidentally shoots and kills his daughter)

Shannon - Henry Gross (a musical tribute to the Irish Setter of the same name belonging to Beach Boys member Carl Wilson, which was killed by a car)

Rocky - Dickey Lee (A guy's wife dies of cancer, and their daughter looks exactly like his wife.)

Daddy Don't You Walk So Fast - Wayne Newton (A guy was leaving his wife, but his little daughter persuades him to stay: "Daddy, don't you walk so fast
My darling cried, Daddy, don't you walk so fast
Daddy, slow down some 'cause you're making me run
Daddy, don't you walk so fast"
If only for the sake of my sweet daughter
I just had to turn back home right there and then
And try to start a new life with the mother of my child
I couldn't bear to hear those words again")

Reflections of My Life - The Marmalade ("The world is a bad place, a bad place
A terrible place to live
Oh, but I don't wanna die ...")

Wildfire - Michael Martin Murphey (A pony dies in a blizzard, and the young girl that owned him is heartbroken.)

There's a particular song, but I can't remember the title. It's about a young man who has sex with his father's girlfriend. Then, you find out that the father crashed his car into a tree and died. During sex, the son thought he heard a sound outside the window of the bedroom and wonders if his father saw them together. Does anyone know the title of this song?

I'm REALLY depressed now. (not really)
