Today marks the 52nd anniversary of the release of the album "Band on the Run" by Paul McCartney and Wings on December 5, 1973. On the cover are band members Paul McCartney, Linda McCartney, and Denny Laine, plus six other well-known people dressed as escaped convicts caught in the spotlight of a prison searchlight. They are Michael Parkinson, Kenny Lynch, James Coburn, Clement Freud, Christopher Lee, and John Conteh. I am going to have to pick "Jet" as my favorite song from the album.
