HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY !!! "Breathless" by The Corrs is my favorite song by my favorite Irish band. Yeah, I like The Corrs better than U2.
The Corrs is an Irish family band consisting of siblings Andrea (lead vocals, tin whistle, mandolin, ukulele), Sharon (violin, keyboards, vocals), Caroline (drums, percussion, piano, bodhrán, vocals) and Jim (guitar, piano, keyboards, vocals). Their music combines pop rock with traditional Irish themes. They are from Dundalk in County Louth, Ireland.
What I like is that many of their songs represent a woman professing her love for a man. That is extremely rare and quite refreshing. I also like brother Jim's guitar technique and song arrangements (instrumentation and harmonies). ... and yes, the three sisters sing well and are quite beautiful. They all got the vibe "goin' on."
