R.I.P. Gene Shalit (March 25, 1926 – June 12, 2026) ... He was a famous American journalist, television personality, film and book critic, and author.
I still watch him (on YouTube) on reruns of the panel game show "What's My Line?," specifically the incarnation from the late 1960s and early 1970s. I watched the original airings of these shows when I was a preteen.
