While I occasionally eat cucumbers, I mostly try to avoid them because they make me burp, and they are thought to lower sperm count. Decades ago, I read a news story about scientists who were trying to create a male contraception pill made from cucumber extract.

While I really dislike the taste and texture of strawberries, I do sometimes force myself to eat them because they are healthy. My LEAST favorite dessert is strawberry shortcake. I dislike strawberries; I dislike yellow pound cake; and I dislike whipped cream.
