Raspberry is my third-favorite fruit after lime (1) and mango (2). I like raspberries coupled with chocolate. (I used to like cape gooseberries. I first tasted them in Austria many years ago, but I don't like them as much as I did.)

Chocolate-covered almonds are OK, but I prefer chocolate-covered cashews.

I occasionally liked freezer pops when I was a kid in the 1960s and 1970s, but I am not as fond of them these days.

Today is SCUD Day, a day to step away from stressful conflicts, toxic gossip, and overwhelming news feeds and replace them with pure, lighthearted silliness. SCUD is an acronym for Savor the Comic, Unplug the Drama. (Also, scud missiles are a series of Soviet-designed, short-range tactical ballistic missiles first developed in the 1950s.)

While I occasionally eat cucumbers, I mostly try to avoid them because they make me burp, and they are thought to lower sperm count. Decades ago, I read a news story about scientists who were trying to create a male contraception pill made from cucumber extract.
