Amendment 4 here in Florida has been DEFEATED today on Election Day !!! Abortion in Florida now officially remains ILLEGAL after SIX (6) weeks of pregnancy !!! I voted no, so I am quite happy about this. IF the amendment had passed, it would have added language to the state constitution granting protection for abortion before the time of viability. The amendment required 60 percent of the vote to pass.
