Healing Of Left Foot

My podiatrist made a house call this early evening (December 18, 2025). While my left foot is now looking quite funky after my second of two surgeries in early November 2025, which my podiatrist performed, he told me (this evening) that it is healing quite well. As you can see, I had two of my toes amputated (explanation below).

Between March 2022 and November 2025, I had eight surgeries (1 heart, 2 chest, 2 spine, 1 right ankle, plus the following 2 surgeries).

My two most recent surgeries are:

November 4, 2025: artery bypass surgery (3-foot-long blockage in the main artery in my left leg; removal of 3-foot-long vein in my right leg, which was inserted within my left leg to bypass my blocked artery)

November 8, 2025: left foot surgery (3rd and 4th toes of my left foot amputated due to artery blockage)

My toe next to my big toe on my left foot looks out of place due to one of four (now five) surgeries on my left foot, specifically to remove the joint due to a bone infection.

I returned home on December 13, 2025, from my around-six-week stint at my physical rehabilitation facility following those two surgeries in early November 2025.

The day before I returned home, I finished my last bag of intravenous antibiotic for a bone infection in the big toe of my left foot. I had been receiving four bags of powerful, intravenous antibiotics every day for those six weeks. I started receiving the infusions in the hospital and then continued at my physical rehabilitation facility, where I was also engaging in occupational therapy and physical therapy.

I have endured this six-week-long intravenous antibiotics regimen many times in recent years for bone infections and skin infections in both of my feet and legs.
