45 years ago today on December 8, 1980, John Lennon was murdered at the age of 40. R.I.P. Mr. Lennon. I was attending Villanova University (age 19), when my friend Steve in the dorm room next to mine awoke me around 11 p.m. on that day to tell me. I was sleeping in a loft bed a few inches from the ceiling.
