Today Is ...

From husband Bill, January 22, 2026, at home

Today would have been the 53rd anniversary of Roe v. Wade. I have been pro-life for my entire life, so I celebrated when Roe was overturned after almost 50 years on June 24, 2022. I have celebrated on that date every year since then, and I will continue my new tradition for years to come. I am extremely happy to be living in a post-Roe country that was partially thanks to President Donald J. Trump, who was able to secure three constutionalist justices to the U.S. Supreme Court. I didn't quite understand why I recently had the urge to watch many videos on YouTube so that I could laugh at all of those liberal women who were and are still angered by the decision. I guess that I must have subconsciously remembered its anniversary.

I like Frank's RedHot cayenne sauce, but for heat, I prefer dried red pepper flakes on my Italian food, and, of course, Indian and Thai curries, which also get their heat from cayenne peppers. I also like the green jalapeño version of Tabasco sauce, which is milder than the regular red Tabasco sauce which is made with Tabasco peppers.
