Yesterday marked the 50th anniversary of the release of the album "Band on the Run" by Paul McCartney and Wings. On the cover are band members Paul McCartney, Linda McCartney, and Denny Laine, plus six other well-known people dressed as convicts caught in the spotlight of a prison searchlight. They are Michael Parkinson, Kenny Lynch, James Coburn, Clement Freud, Christopher Lee, and John Conteh. Tragically and coincidentally, Laine passed away yesterday. R.I.P.
